Fetch Worthy Board & Train Program

Are you looking for an exceptional board and train program that’s trustworthy, safe, and effective?

Your dog is integrated into my home and is open for current established clients whose dogs meet the eligibility requirements. One dog at a time, with an occasional overlap of stay so highly individualized attention in a safe, fun, and loving environment to enhance learning. Our renowned board-and-train program is unique, allowing us to maximize safety and efficiency. You simply won’t find a more customized board-and-train program than this! We tailor our training to your specific goals while updating you on your dog’s progress daily.

Below are customized training suggestions: 1:1 in a home environment (training room, training garage, training park), but we will customize the training as we can. We will inform you if your specific goals are not workable within our program.

By fully immersing your dog or puppy in a highly structured training environment in my home, we focus the entire day around training sessions broken up by rest periods, enrichment, walks, and play. We consider the natural schedule of a canine when designing our plan – to get the best out of your dog’s
learning experience. This allows us to maximize results in a short period of time.

Due to the high-touch program, time commitment, and tailored training plans, we only accept a few reservations during the summer months. During the Holiday months, please book at least 30 days in advance by contacting Shelly to inquire.

For the dogs’ safety in our care, we require that all dogs be healthy. We do not use or allow aversive training equipment during our program. Cameras are used to monitor your dog—only one dog will board at a time, fully integrating into my home with my dog. *The program is subject to change at any time. Inquire today!

Dog’s Requirements:

  • Potty Trained (with the exceptions of puppies)
  • Dog Social (Resident dog – Kai is a 12 yo Golden Labrador)
  • No bite history or resource guarding.
  • Negative fecal sample, + vaccination history without any exposure to canine illness or parasite within 14 days of stay.
  • Ability to be crated, gated, or left inside the home without separation anxiety symptoms (destructive chewing, howling, vocalizing, excessive distress barking).
  • No fleas or ticks.
  • Freshly groomed/bathed – no matting, fleas, ticks, or stinky pups, please!
  • Two bags of small training rewards.
  • Your dog’s food, with at least two extra portions (for backup).
  • A daily enrichment chew. Please do not skimp; provide at least a bag of chews your dog loves.
  • Your dog’s leash, harness, and collar with updated ID tags.

  • You’ll see better results by focusing on one or two training goals rather than trying to tackle too many at once. Here are some examples of goals you can achieve during the program. When setting realistic expectations, consider your dog’s age, past experiences, learning style, breed, and personality. We’ll help you identify the most important goals for your dog and guide you on what we can achieve together. Also, please note that additional training days may be discounted.

14-Night Program: $1926 – Recommended if your training needs include:

  • Foundation Behaviors around distractions: Relaxing, Sit, Down, Stay, Rocket Recall, Place, Touch
  • Impulse Control: Wait, Drop, Leave It, Focusing with Distractions
  • Jumping (there will be extra follow-up work necessary to ensure this behavior is generalized to your home)
  • Socialization
  • Help for Nipping and Chewing

21-Night Program: $2750- Recommended if your training needs include:

  • Foundation Behaviors around distractions and public settings: Relaxing, Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Place
  • Impulse Control: Wait, Drop, Leave It, Leash Walking, Focusing with Distractions
  • Advanced Obedience in public settings
  • Help with Leash Pulling and Lunging
  • Improving Leash Reactivity. *not currently accepting reactivity in the program.
  • Jumping (there will be extra follow-up work necessary to ensure this behavior is generalized to your home)
  • Puppy Socialization checklist items #30
  • Potty Training (we will create a strong foundation for potty training and teach your dog to ring a bell to go out, but there will be follow-up work required in your home to ensure 100% success)

*These are examples of the goals that can be met during the package listed. Typically, not all of the
above goals will be relevant for one dog, and we take into account your dog’s age and temperament when
setting realistic goals for your dog’s stay. Our board and train program is totally customized to
your goals, and we will prioritize the goals relevant to you and your dog.
